Gorgeous Dawson, Dumped near the Metro Animal Shelter! in Halifax, Nova Scotia
Type: Pets
This interesting and friendly young cat named Dawson has a green eye and a blue eye, which makes for some amusing photos of him. He was picked up one evening when our rescuer was attempting to trap the last remaining kitten at the parking lot of the SPCA Metro Animal Shelter in Dartmouth (for a total of 7 kittens and 5 adults!)
This little guy was hiding under a deck but came right out once he smelled food (tuna). He was absolutely starving - for food and for love!
Dawson was easily coaxed into her arms, into a cat carrier and whisked away to a vet. He's been grateful ever since!
He's doing really well in his new foster home, exploring and getting comfy with a young male student. Dawson's a cuddlebug too, which just makes him all the more loveable.
Dawson's been tested negative for feline disease, neutered and treated for parasites. He looks so very much better than he did during his first few days - his fur is beginning to shine with his regular grooming and he's really a handsome young cat.
Perhaps you'd like to meet this lonesome and handsome fella?
